Kemp Harker is Managing Director for Regional Marketing’s Latin America, Caribbean & Africa Region. In this role, Kemp leads the marketing efforts of Boeing Commercial Airplanes for our airline customers. Kemp has been in this role since 2013. Before joining Regional Marketing, Kemp was Director of Boeing’s Network & Fleet Planning group. This group is responsible for developing network analysis, traffic forecasts, and airline schedules and fleet plans. They identify new market opportunities for airlines and Boeing’s Commercial Airplane Group. This group also works to understand how airlines could use new airplane types and what that means to future networks and fleet requirements. Previously, Kemp developed forecasting expertise while working in Spares and in Market Analysis. In Boeing’s Spares group, Kemp managed groups responsible for developing Spares’ long range business plan and ordering/placing new inventory. While part of Market Analysis, Kemp was responsible for forecasting Asian airline requirements for Boeing’s Current Market Outlook. He has a Bachelor of Science in applied mathematics from the University of Washington and an MBA from Seattle University.
